Founded in 1997, the Rwanda Medical Association (RMA) is the umbrella professional body for all medical doctors and specialty associations in Rwanda. Established to rebuild and strengthen the medical profession after the 1994 genocide, RMA promotes professional excellence, ethics, and collaboration among doctors.
Over the years, RMA has worked closely with the Ministry of Health, Rwanda Biomedical Centre, and international partners to enhance healthcare delivery in Rwanda.
To unite and empower medical doctors and professional associations through advocacy, capacity building, and collaboration for improved healthcare outcomes in Rwanda.
